BioMedix is a major innovator in the food safety industry. Upon meeting them, we approached them with a problem they had. Their identity system had been built using clipart and it didn't didn't truly identify the company as professionals in their industry. The image of the beaker represents the science behind food safety. The beaker not only serves as the "O" in the logo, but it was also our goal to create a standalone icon using bold, solid lines that their clients can associate with their great products and customer service. Since the change, BioMedix has grown to be one of the leaders in the food safety industry.

FoodMetrics Laboratories is a company that specializes in the food safety industry. They approached us with the need of an identity system to initiate their branding that communicated the science of food safety. We wanted to create a logo with a standalone icon that would be strong enough to represent the company and it's beliefs. So we asked the client, " What is the basis of all food safety?" They answered...temperature. It controls everything when it comes to food safety. Thus, the image of a stylized thermometer became the icon that is FoodMetrics today.
Biomedix had created a HACCP certificate program at a Cal Poly Pomona and wanted a brochure to market their classes to those in the food industry and students of Hotel Restaurant Management. Girls Today Women Tomorrow is an organization in Los Angeles that mentors young girls for life success and to become integral parts of their community. They approached me with a need to update their existing logo which would be launched at their annual fashion show fundraiser. They wanted to have an abstract portrayal of what the organization does. The symbolism that I illustrated was the releasing of a butterfly. GTWT also requested that they keep the feminine look yet still appear like a corporate entity for fundraising purposes.

This mural was for a little girl's bedroom. The imagery depicted a storybook she had picked out which was about a King Swan who told stories to all the animal children. It was painted on a large stretch of canvas in the studio. This was done so that not only did would it give a very artistic feel to the mural, but also it was mobile and they could take it with them should they move to another home. When finished, it was removed and stretched onto the client's wall and framed with an intricate moulding. 10' x 5' Acrylic on Canvas
This mural was commissioned for a Victorian home in the Pasadena area. The concept was to portray an image of the owners house on a Tuscan vineyard to remind her of where she came from. The Redding Convention Center needed a revitalization of their existing identity system. They felt that the perception that people had of the facility was that it was a gray, bland box of concrete. So it was decided to play off this and start the campaign "Think Inside the Box". The idea was to get people interested in the interior renovations going on for use with conventions, concerts, theater, etc. The outside gray box represents the building itself. Red and yellow was used as the center colours to represent the exciting future that the facility has lined up in terms of theater, performing arts, and conventions. A keynote presentation was also created as a marketing tool that went out to prospective clients.
